Lunch Program forms for June
A school supplies form from the PAC for supplies next year. (this is a good deal) It is never too early to get those students ready for next year. Even though there are less than 30 school days until summer, buying early you can pretend the summer is almost over. ha ha.
I hope everyone had a great long weekend. I did not do much around the house but went camping instead so it was a great couple of days. We began this short week with Library and computers. In computers the students finished off their Power Point presentations on explorers. We will have a showing to our buddies and other interested students and parents next week.
After recess we had the final wrap up of a special Metis presentation where we got to sew (weave) a four colour wrist band in the traditional Metis colours, methods materials. We listened to Red River Jigging music as we worked.
We started the afternoon with 30 min of reading followed by the dictation of the weekly spelling words. We then ended the day in the gym with Mrs. Borrage's class.
