H & H work on their provincial reports

We had a busy day today with class photos and a recognition assembly in the afternoon. We are continuing to work through the fractions unit, focusing today on changing mixed numbers into improper fractions. The class also worked though a two-minute division speed test.
For group work today, students were put into groups based on the province they each chose for their social studies project. Each group had a chance to explore some books on their province. Working in groups also gave the students an opportunity to bounce ideas off each other and share interesting facts they have discovered. The class has really been enjoying learning more about the Canadian provinces and are eager to share what they are learning.

All students in rugby need to come prepared with shorts, runners, a jacket, mouth guard, a lunch, a water bottle, and weather permitting a hat and sunscreen. You will be leaving for the tournament at 10:20am.
