The main thing Europeans wanted to trade for was fur. Beaver hats weren't actually made from beaver fur. They were made from felt. Felt was made by scraping off the fine under fur from the beaver skin, then wetting and crushing it until it was matted together. this made a material something like thick, wet cardboard. this was then dried and shaped into hats.

Know 5 things the Aboriginal people traded for:
The Aboriginal peoples were interested in trading for goods such as copper pots, knives, axe heads, sewing needles, blankets, wool jackets, beads and guns.

Math: a) adding fractions with like denominators when nothing has to be done (or the don't do it the Thomas way) b) where only one denominator has to be changed because one is a multiple of the other, or c) where both denominators have to be changed using either the Harman way or the modified Aurhea method
